DLT ASSESSEMENT

Hii everyone,
 As a Digital Learning Students we are using DLT in our day today life i think. Basically DLT is not to just Use laptops and eclctronic devices, it is actually a combination of TECHNOLOGY ,DIGITAL DATA and INSTRUCTIONS. This three factors of DLT are correlatedto each other.For example,

Technology is the mechanism that delivers content. It facilitates how students receive content. It includes Internet access and hardware, which can be any Internet access device – from a desktop to a laptop to an iPad to a smartphone. Technology is the tool, not the instruction. Then

 Digital data is the academic material which is delivered through technology. It is what we are learning. It  can be anything like audio,video,software which is on internt.And

Instructions by teachers are essential in learning. So personal guidance and group instructions will be provided by DLT to the students .

ASSESSED BLOG POST 3.1

Here i have taken an example of Educational Organization with DLTs. I have selected UNIVERSITY OF AUCKLAND with THREE different DLTs IN UNIVERSITY.

1) Data and information : AS per wikieducator difination data can be stored,processedinput or output.At AU website there some progams and information about that is called data. For example if i want to enroll in business and management than all courses under that catagory are available and processes for enroll and register are alsothere so that international students have no need to come and do all procedure manually.
Then Information can be any useful processed data means Student grades, all time tables,notice boards,Announcements and many more in student support on AU website.

2) SOFTWARE: AU students and teachers have blogs, presentations,videos,audios, animations which is accessible on cloud by individual is a software DLT we can say.
Student enrollment and assesment by admin side is also comes under this category.

3) People: Each person who is directely or indirectely related to AU online is people of AU we can say.For an instance,Students,Trainers, facilitators, lecturers,Admin staff (rolls, assessments),Technical support (Assist with Projectors, setting up labs) and Systems Developer are the people of AU.

As before i said in DLT introduction,Instruction is that mutch important as mutch data. Mainly in this era when almost all things are online ,need of instructions is that "if student is going on track or not?".For that teachers also require some DLT skills which has three major stages.

1. ADVANCED : As name says almost all technological things should be cover.Like,
# Create or edit Digital AUDIO/video/images
# Survey by software in class
# Group discussions and quiz online    
                    
2. INTERMEDIATE:
# Online stickey notes/Reminders for students
# Online lacturewise material
# Update a new version of Software

3. BASIC : Must have skills for use of
# Social media
# Powerpoint and all basic windows software
# Plagerisum check
# Content usage point of view (copied or referenced)

This is all about DLT skills of tutors.
